Has anyone out there have any experience with Le Club Francais? My 5 year old son has just started reception and they are offering these classes if you are willing to pay. I'm in too minds about it. Would be great to hear from anyone out there who has had experience with this type of French learning? Crinks

Hi Crinks, I am French and taught for the club francais for 2 years. If you can afford it I would give it a go, it's mostly games and songs, your ds will learn to say a few things in french and will get used to the idea of other people speaking different languages and that's fun. I would give it a term to see if he enjoys it. If after a term he really doesn't want to continue, then let him stop. He can always try again later when he's ready.
Bonne chance!

Thanks for your advice. I think I will leave it a term to get him settled in Reception, then perhaps join up after Christmas. Crinks.

Ds did Le club Francais in Reception. I wont say he learnt much, the odd word maybe, but he had a whale of a time and loved going!
