Been to the first PTA meeting tonight and have somehow ended up being class rep! Ah well, I'm a nosey old soul so it suits me!

2.5 hrs for a meeting though?! I've missed The Apprentice AND Lost!!

I was roped into being parent rep because I made the mistake of going to a pre-school meeting in the hope of meeting. I only went because I was new to the area and I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet other parents. I was the only parent there.

My dd has just started a new school this September and I am avoiding volunteering like the plague for as long as possible. I've spent the last 3 years "just" doing Christmas Fairs/Summer Fairs/Quiz Nights etc. I've never worked that hard in any paid job
