baby signers

Hi,Can anyone tell me how much Baby Signers courses are & how good they are?.. Any experiences?..

There will probably be a course near you if you google. It's a lot of fun if you don't take it too seriously.

My DD could be signing "milk" at me or she could be... erm... waving...

I did baby signing with DS1 (now 4.5). He still sometimes uses some of the signs when he is asking for a drink or something to eat!

I agree with Longtalljosie - don't take it too seriously!! I used it as an excuse for a morning out and to meet new mums. The bedtime and bathtime songs were good and we still use them with DS2!

We did sing and sign. My DD loves it and she actually signed really well from quite a young age (Started at about 10 months). It worked well for us...she was easy to follow too. She spoke later than many of her friends (she was not interested in saying the odd word, wanted to use sentences i think!!) so signing did allow her to communicate well. Even now if we don't follow what she is saying (She makes words up...) she does a sign so we will understand!!
