Schooling near Lingfield, Surrey?

I have just recently moved to the Lingfield due to husband's work. We need to apply for schools by January for my son and would love to know any local information on state primary schools in the area.

Had a friend who was very happy with Felbridge - advantage is it takes them to 11 whereas many others in the area are infant/junior.

Have friends with children at Lingfield Primary who are doing very well and seem happy there, also St Peters Infants Tandridge or St Marys Oxted - but think last two are very popular so may be over subscribed.

Sorry for butting in, but we are also moving to Lingfield soon and I just wondered how you got on. We are moving from Scotland where our school system is very different ( you go to your local school, end of) so any advice on the choice and subscribing process would be really helpful.
