nail technician????

hello i dont know if this is the right palce to post well i have been looking into doing a nail technician course i have rang my local college and because me and my partner work and only get £10 a week child tax its going to cost me £2,500 to do the 12 month course i cant afford to do that so i have been doing a little research and the home learning is coming up alot cheaper at £4oo, and im just wondering if any of you ladies have done this or no of anybody that has, any advice would really help thanks michelle x

Seems a lot of money for an FE course that isnt' full time. Check if you have been quoted the right figure. Ask to speak to a lecturer from the curriculum area (probably hair and beauty) which provides the course. If it really is 2,500 see if there are any evening/part time options to do as a taster.
