Some of you may remember me posting a while back about a child at ds's school alleging that he was being bullied by my ds aged 11. The parents of the boy lay in wait for my ds and confronted him on the way home from school regarding it, if you remember?
Out of the blue this morning, the school liaison officer has requested me, dh and ds attend a meeting to "sort out the ongoing problem of ds's bullying" in order that the boy in question can return to school after being absent for much of last term (and all of this term so far). Apparently the other boy is so traumatised by my ds's bullying that he cannot face coming to school.
Well, I am pleased to be able to tell you that the school have categorically stated that my ds isn't and hasn't bullied this other boy and the police officer involved has confirmed this. It turns out this boy and his parents have some deep rooted problems which are nothing to do with my ds but they have decided to use him as a smokescreen to detract from whatever the real issues are.
I am pretty nervous about this meeting although I know that ds will be exonerated. It's a horrible feeling ds being accused of something so awful but worse in a way knowing the accusations are totally false.
Not sure really the point of posting this other than to update you, but it feels better having got it all off my chest.
