Hi I am trying to decide which one for my 3 year old. Both look good. I have heard that Homefield is more "academic" any views? thank you.

How funny! We are looking at these two also. We did the open days at both and initially thought Homefield the better school. However, we questioned our judgement in light of the pretty damning ISI report done recently. So we have in the past week, revisted both schools for another look round.

I found the one on one time with the senior representatives combined with seeing both schools in action most useful.

We have decided to go with the Priory, have you made a decision yet?

Does anyone know if Priory is a good school?
What is their assessment?

I think the priory and homefield are apples and oranges tbh - very different schools for very different boys and senior schools...

I hear good things about Priory Prep in Banstead, can anyone tell me more?

Priory has had an excellent Inspection Report recently and they are taking extra boys into Reception and Year1 on the strength of it. When I visited recently I was most impressed- nice boys, good staff and great Head. We've decided on Priory.

even though this thread is old, it is where i am in my decision making right now...have son in local primary but looking to move him to either Homefield or Priory prep to commence year 1..have seen both schools but im slighly swayed towards Priory but would like first hand experience from parents in both schools
