At long last wome one listed but why wait until jamie oliver highlights parent having been doing it for years oh well the price of fame i suppose

Hopefully it will filter down even more into primary schools and in the long term improve their meals as well

I was delighted when dd came home from school this term with a new menu from school. They now have a choice of two main meals or a filled jacket potato and chips are on offer only once a month. Fresh fruit is available each day and milk or juice is now included in the cost of the meal. Hurrah!

can't start soon enough for me. I was going to seek a fizzy drink ban anyway, nice to know I won't have to be the difficult mum for once
