Hey, I am really confused.

Where has the head gone at this school? All seems very strange.

Unless there is an obvious explanation like sudden illness (in which case they would normally have arranged cover protem, from exsitng staff or another school, and you can usually find out by googling a back newsletter) I'd suggest it is a symptom of a school in potential financial straits, best avoided. Why not phone their admissions secretary and ask ?

From what I understand, the head wasn't performing too well(think he is now the chaplain at Hurstpierpoint college, but don't quote me!).
They do have an acting head who appears to be excellent and is likely to be appointed to a substantive post.
