Common Entrance Fees

Hi, I was just wondering how much Common Entrance fees are?
My son starts CE work next week when he goes back to school in year 7 and I've just received a letter that states that in year 8 we have to pay a CE fee at start of term but no indication of how much it is.

I know that it will probably rise in price next year but can someone give me a rough idea? Is it a fortune?!

My nephew did CE in June and the fee was £100.

BTW my SIL recommends the Galore Park Revision books - she says they are excellent!

Haven't been told about one ... yet! ds going into year 8.

SIL wasn't told about it until after the exams - she was not happy!!!

Thanks - hopefully his secondary place will have been secured by then. He's gone back today rather apprehensive.
