Need help on Bishops Stortford area

Hi there,

We are off tomorrow to have a little look around the Bishops Stortford area. Will be visiting preps later on in the month. Does anyone have any advice on which areas we should take a look at/drive around. We are thinking about the Bishops Stortford area because the prep school looks good - but any other suggestions and areas nearby to look at would be such a help.

Also, seeing as we are dragging three children over there I wondered if anyone knew of any good playgrounds we might take them to to give them some fun :)

BS is nice. THe school I know nearby though is in Hertford (not far) its the Heathmount school - and is where the Beckhams sent their kids when in UK. I know someone with kids there and she/they are very happy.

State schools also good, BS is where lots of Essex people move to for schooling. Big park by the river behind waitrose.
