Have heard very good things from parents with kids at Forest, but that is private.

Flossam · 31/08/2005 08:55

Have you looked at ofsted reports?

lewislewis · 01/09/2005 19:30

We can't do private - have read the reports, but would like some info from local parents/teachers before actually visiting the schools.

Hi, I know lots of children at primaries in E17,all different ages /sexes etc-firstly,whereabouts are you in Walthamstow? My child is doing very well at a local primary here, despite its poor reputation, anyway happy to help.I also know teachers at various schools in the borough.

Hello, thanks to all of you. We are still househunting in Walthamstow, after a couple of offers falling through. Basically we will go wherever htere are good schools (except Walthamstow village because far too expensive for us). We seem to like the Loyds Park/Higham hill area, so we would love to know more about Winns, Ascham and Whittingham schools. I catted Doddle and leah4, do you want me to cat you Interstella or are you happy to chat on mumsnet? Ladymuck: in theory we are Church of England, what is your opinion of the local religious schools? I hate house/school/hunting, very stressfull and time consuming. Thanks a lot for your help.
