First time! What do we do?

Hi, I have a son whos 13mnths, and I'm new to the education stuff. We live in Leicester, can anyone tell me at what age they go to playgroup/nursery and do we have to get them on waiting list?

Has anyone any recommendations for good schools etc from personnal experience?

playgroup could be 2.5 (paid for) and from 3 or 3.5 government funded dependent on local policies. this would tend to be a couple of hours a day

At our local playgroup you need to get there name down asap DD2 (3rd child) 13mths name is down already.
