i know someone who has done it, that alone you cant teach eith as it is just a preparing to teach it is also only valid for teching in post 16 year olds

I got PTLLS as part of my PGCE in post-compulsory education - atm I'm finding it hard to find work as many places seem to be laying off tutors rather than hiring but it would probably depend on the subject you want to teach. Also many jobs are sessional and pay you only for contact hours and not for lesson preparation/marking/admin which can take ages. Take a look at FEjobs.com or TES.co.uk which might give you an idea of what the job market is like/whether it's worth training or not.

That said, I enjoyed the course and found it very useful. HTH
