There seems to be too many atm.
sold a bundle of clothes last week...took buyer 5 days to pay (-getting used to waiting for payments lately!) Then 1 & 1/2 days later got a blunt email asking if I had posted it. 40 mins later another blunt one just saying 'fist class postage' I had a force myself to reply politely that my listings and invoices clearly state I post within 2-3 days of payment clearing and it was ready to go the next day.

Im getting a bit fed up with the rudeness of people on ebay and non payers lately.

I too get annoyed when people don't pay quickly. If it's something they want, and have bidded on - they obviously want it quick as they can, so why not pay on time?
Plus, if they put a winning bid in at the last min, they are clearly on the computer - so why not just log into Paypal and pay?

No need for rudeness either. A polite line of text costs nowt. The general skint public mustn't be as nice as us MNers, clearly

what pisses me off with Ebay is that people expect it to be like a shop with next day delivery when it clearly says allow X amount of days for delivery. people have lives! i can only get to post office on a saturday - i have had people email to ask where their stuff is the next day! give me chance ffs! im right off ebay at min.

I completely agree. These buyers did bid at the last minute which makes it all the more frustrating. I wouldnt mind if they didnt have the money til xday as long as they tell me so I dont have to keep pestering them.
I have loads of hospital appointments for DS atm so thats why I clearly state 2-3 days its like no one actually reads the posts.
I wish I could stay away from ebay sometimes but it seems to be the best place for me to get rid of my stuff and I need the money.
Im just waiting to see if they find anything else to complain about once they receive the parcel.

This was my axe to grind...people paying days and days after wining and then as I had stated 3 working days 2nd class. So the item would may be 1.5 weeks after wining and people started knocking me down on the feedback. Hence my warning on the DSRs.

E-bay looks down on people who dont post next day 1st class because it wants to blend the business with the private sellers which is totally unfair.

Yes, agree at pleasant reply should suffice.

Ebay favours buyers every time. They don't give a toss aobut non business sellers either, people like Mumsnetters having a clear out to make a bit of cash
