Check your paypal account itself. Most payments go straight into there, and it will tell you whether the payment has cleared so that you can safely post the item.
To get your mitts on the loot, you have to transfer it from your paypal account into your bank- it's not automatic.

Silly question, but you've haven't bought other things and spent it already have you? I've done that before - the money was taken from paypal account instead of from credit card.

just re checked account - no record of either transactions
i am using the link on the paypal receipt

six - i dont think so as the email that tells me i have the fuds has a link - when i click on the link it takes me to the correct paypal account but not funds...

anyone else know ?

are you new seller? PP will with hold your funds until feedback is left or 28 (I think) days is up. They do this under certain feedback on ebay too
