Buer pushing for a partial refund instead of full refund/return of item

Hi, as the title suggests really, not sure what to do as the buyer is saying there are some small bleach marks near a seam on the back of a boys jacket I sold her I checked the item before listing and there were no marks but I offered a full refund and for her to return the jacket and she said she's rather not as it will cost her £5 in postage.

I replied that 2nd class postage had cost me 2.36 and I was happy to have it returned 2nd class and that I'm reluctant to refund partially as I'd rather just relist the item stating the defect.

I just know she's going to give me neg feedback

Does any one have any advice for me in this situation?

also to add I also told her I'd refund both postage and cost of item.

Report her to ebay for feedback extortion?

I threatened this with a buyer trying to get a 4-pack of Next t-shirts down from the £2.04 she bid to 99p. They were listed as t-shirts for nursery/scruffy wear, they cost around £20 new and all wear and tear was listed. One t- shirt was brand new and another had only been worn once.

Email her again asking for the item back and you will refund or threaten with ebay.

Thanks for the replies. I dont often use ebay but have been a member since 2004 and it seems to me to have gotten really bad for situations like this recently. A year or so ago things like this didnt seem to happen, now everyone is trying to haggle 50p off an item thats cost £2 or whatever! And giving negative/neutral feedback - Its very odd!

my postage and packing charge was was 2.50 and the postage alone cost £2.36 so I dont think thats unfair. The actual jacket sold for 5.71 from a starting price of 99p again I dont see how that could be seen as unfair. I offered return and refund again not unfair.

oh good! I was a bit worried then! £10.47 is ridiculous!
