I can normally tell the cheeky ebayers whenever I freecycle somehting. Their emails will be 'yeah i'll ave it, gissa text on this number and i'll come get it'

FrumpyPumpy · 25/04/2010 17:00

Am north... sorry! But in answer to your OP - yes definitely ebay. We have sold the most random things. Worth a go for essentially pennies to list.

justallovertheplace · 25/04/2010 17:01

I bet you like a cheeky swing on it every now and again though. Especially after a few.

SuSylvester · 25/04/2010 17:02

justallovertheplace · 25/04/2010 17:10

Has anyone ever peered back? I spend spent many an hour peering at my rather fine over the road neighbour from my window assuming he couldn't see in, when it transpired, by way of a coy wave that in fact he could. Better than giving me the Vs I suppose

SuSylvester · 25/04/2010 17:11

Ebay it for 10p - you won't make money but someone will take it away for you.

SuSylvester · 25/04/2010 17:19

lol

Yeah, ebay it. We bought a 6 year old triple swing set from ebay (£46 - my biggest bargain ever, as singles were going for as much!). You should get a few quid for it.

Does anyone still look at local cards?!

maxybrown · 25/04/2010 18:05

It will def sell, you will be surprised!

LesbianMummy1 · 25/04/2010 18:13

If you are near me I will take it from you and give you a donation if you happy I am in portsmouth

Tryharder · 26/04/2010 12:38

Definitely ebay. As long as you are honest about the age and condition and I would also make a disclaimer about safety - i.e buyer's responsibility to make sure correctly set up, safe for kids to use etc.

PurpleFrog · 26/04/2010 13:04

I sold my TP Challenger last year on Netmums (Shhh! Very good for local adverts) Mine was about 7 years old and a bit rusty in places but otherwise sound. I scrubbed it all and took lots of photos. I checked eBay first to work out a general price. Frames in some UK areas had lots of bidders but frames in my general area were not making much money. If you live in a very densly populated area it is probably worth trying eBay.
