Do you think anyone would buy this?

I found a hamster cage, the Rotastack Space Unit, in local woods, without a hammy (presumably they were chucked together ).

All of it appears to be in good nick, except the lid to the main unit is partly damaged (I presume hammy chewed his way out, you'd have to be pretty handy to figure out a repair, and I can't see that it's possible to buy replacement lids on their own).

So Problems are:
It all needs a good clean (but nothing truly grotty that I can see)
The damaged lid
Would be hard to wrap for postage and we live far from where most people would travel to pick up.
I'm not too keen on flogging little bits for like 2-3 quid each, listing & Paypal fees would just eat that up, not worth it.

And maybe nobody would bid on it at all?

Else I could freecycle it... what would you do?

some people are wierd aren't they - go all the way to woods to dump somthing like that, when they could just as easily go to the err dump

it seems a bit wrong to sell something you just found, aside from the practical difficulties of selling it

Oh that's funny, I feel a bit guilty about freecycling when I could get a bit of dosh for it! But I guess that's the way I'll go. Should make someone happy.

I must admit I would probably rather ebay than freecycle unless it was an 'essential' type thing then I would probably freecycle, but I am a bit poor atm
