Sold my Quinny Zapp, collected yesterday. Now buyer has emailed me saying the bar between the handlebar bends, i emailed saying this happened after 6 months of the buying it, my friend also had the same happen to her. So she replied saying shes contacted quinny and they say its unsafe, Ive looked around at reviews and this just happens with age, ive explained this her. Im going to contact quinny as i dont believe she has contacted them.

But what do i do regarding returns/refund, its cost me £8 in fees and had to rush home yesterday as she just rang saying i'll be there in 20 mins.

I think you need to suck it up I'm afraid, and relist stating very clearly the problem and that it is a common one - try and list a bit higher price to cover your fees, if you think it will make more.

Unfortunately I've seen the bar you mean snapped in half, I'm not sure how common this is! But Zapps seem to have a few issues.

Thanks for the reply, i will refund her if i have to. I have emailed quinny about the safety, it was made very clear in my listing that its 2 years old been used for 2 children so its had a lot of wear and tear.

Oh that's a bit unfair then - sorry, I assumed 'decent buyer' (not to the exclusion of 'decent seller' of course!) but should have realised, you do get a lot of tryers on with ebay.

You have no responsibility to refund her and don't have to, unless she used paypal, in which case you will - but you might get a negative feedback if you don't.

I'd say it's not worth the fuss, probably, but what a nuisance for you to have to refund her.

Yes i'll refund her, and if quinny does email me to say it is unsafe then i defiently will. I cant be doing with the hassle. She paid cash her dad picked it up. I've just got a feeling shes trying it on as she has not mentioned a refund yet.

Just i sold pushchair as i really needed £ for vet bills. ive already spent the money, and mil has bought me a cheapy pram from a catalogue as a gift.

How come i don't have to refund her? Wouldn't a dispute end in a favour?

Sorry for all the questions! I just need to vent.
