Is it worth selling shoes on eBay d'you think?

I have some Jimmy Choos, worn once inside only. Looking on the eBay boards, especially the completed items, it seems only about 10% of Mr Choo's shoes listed there sell.

The shoes do not have a box, although there is a dustbag, and were in the sale so the label inside the shoe has the small pen mark that the nice J Choo people put on to show it was a sale shoe. Basically, as a "sale" it is not perfect.

Query is it worth the effort on eBay? I could try on mumsnet, natch, and DH has suggested some other sites I could try. But for the other sites it would need to be a fixed price, whereas for eBay there is the lure of the auction.....

I would try other sites tbh. I have sold Choos on ebay before and they didn't go for as much as I was hoping. Would have been better to sell on a dedicated shoe site.

Why dont you list them on MN?
WHat size are they?

I've sold a couple of pairs of Choos and got more than I expected. I do keep shoes in the box with the dustbag however.

Now if you've got some really old knackered shoes...

they can sell for a fortune. Particularly if you provide pictures of them on your feet.

Thanks all.

They are size 37 & I will list them on MN. Can anyone suggest a more "shoe" site?
