I won a coat for DD for 99p, yes it was only 99p plus reasonable p&p thats why Im not sure if I should say anything.
It arrived unwashed with food on and animal hairs.

Its already in the wash.

I would never leave a neg or neutral for something like this as its just a case of throwing in the machine.

But when its sated 'from a clean home' should I send an email pointing out if was grubby?

Not sure its worhth it.

I would send a polite email to the seller, just explaining how you feel. That way it may make them pull their socks up for further auctions & prevent anyone else felling the same.
I got a skirt through ebay, that was quite bobbly around the hips (the sort of condition that would have made me put it in the textiles recycling rather than selling), but as it was only 99p, it was less hassle to keep it than send it back. I did email the seller saying I was disappointed and she immediately refunded my money (this was not what I was after by the way).
