If a listing says Free P&P Sellers Standard Rate what does it mean?

weird thing is something i had my eye on said free P&P then in the description it aid sorry for high P&P costs but item is heavy.

should I e-mail them?

always message first if you are unsure.

free P&P sellers standard rate means it is free but you don't know if they will post it 1st or 2nd class or rec del etc etc - it's free tho.

I have always taken it as free P&P. If they did try and charge at the end of the auction then they are in the wrong for not clearly stating the P&P costs in the 1st place
