Waiting on about 5 packages, some from ebay one not, all haven't turned up what next???

Am waiting on 4 packages from ebay sellers and one from John Lewis, the JL one says it has been despatched online and I ordered it last Saturday with a 5 day delivery time at most so could be bank hol. The ebay stuff some I won as far back as the 26th April. If it was from one seller I would be querying it but not from 4 different ones. Have e-mailed sellers to ask when they posted items only one has got back to me and said she posted it Friday second class so thats OK.

But the others should be here by now, especially as I have ordered other things that have since arrived. Letters are OK it's the parcels.

How long would you give before kicking up a fuss?

Phone sorting office and see if they have any parcels for you that postman has attempted to deliver?
I think sometimes they don't even try if they are in a rush, then forget to put a card through.
If they are there then complain!

I posted a parcel to my dad on a Thursday a couple of weeks ago first class, it arrived the following Wednesday. Normally he would have got it the next day. Mail seems exceptionally slow at the moment for some reason.

So i went ot the sorting office asked if they had any packages for me and lo and behold 5 turned up, bloody Royal Mail, still was all stuff for the DDs so they are very happy

Complain, have you not had a card through the door to say that they'd attempted delivery?
That's so bad, your postman is obviously lazy!
