How long do I wait for Buyers to contact me?

Novice ebayer here. I thought I was doing well but am now starting to get anxious.

I have had 3 auctions finish since Thursday and have heard nothing from the buyers.

I sent out the invoices. How long should I leave it before I contact them again?

I am worried because 2 of the winning bidders have no feedback at all.

Have they paid yet? Perhaps the bank holiday has impeded their Internet access Perhaps they forgot they were bidding. Send them a message along the lines of, "Please pay in X number of days, or the item will be re-auctioned". Another couple of days should see you right though. Good luck.

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes things from buyers end up in there.

Thanks. No, they haven't paid yet. 2 of the items were cash on collection.

I will check my spam folder and email them again.

After three days I send a second invoice, with a note in the box saying 'this is a reminder invoice'. It works 9 times out of 10.
For the cash on collection, they may be waiting to hear from you. Email them and ask when they would like to collect.

It's quite likely that they don't know what the next step is, and they are waiting to hear from you to arrange days, times, etc.

Thanks. I may be stressing for nothing. It's just that my auctions went so much better than I expected so I am thinking it was too good to be true.

just to say make sure on cash on collection items you do only take cash on collection dont do payment via paypal as people some anyway claim item not received and claim there money back and as cash on collection you have no postage proof to prove item has been collected only royal mail receipt etc is valid proof

i know many people who have been caught out on this

i usually give 3 days considering its bank holiday i always give few extra days as quite possible could have gone away

if 3 days on still haven't heard then i email a reminder to pay or i shall relist through no contact

true, except you can't say no paypal as ebay can remove listing, you have to accept it now.

Thanks all for your advice. I have had contact with 2 of the buyers so feeling less stressed.
