How long would you wait to hear from buyer?

I sold something on Ebay and I stated UK postage only but the buyer is from Italy.

I worked out postage will be £9.77, 3 times the price of the item, and e-mailed the winning bidder to tell them how much postage would be and did they still want it.

This was all done yesterday evening and I was wondering how long I should leave it.

as they have won, send an invoice with the correct p&P. they can then pay immediately if they want. Send a reminder after 3 - 4 days then file a dispute for non payment on day 8.
