I am fed up with Ebay which seems to have gone downhill especially since the new rules all my items are usually BNWT and top brands (Boden, pumpkin patch, jigsaw)- now send everything recorded due to the amount of people claiming non receipt which you always have to refund - but despite this out of 11 items sold last week- still have 2 claiming this and loads of excuses - like I want to collect - and wont pay postage (I dont offer collect due to previous experience), I must have sized the shoes wrong as they are too big for her DD so she wants to return them - she paid £3.99 for a £16 paid of BNWT shoes - asusme they dont like them - it is just more trouble than it is worth. So for those of you who have given up on ebay - where else do you sell please. Planning to deresgister once I have finished dealing with this lot.

Oh, what a shame. Is it likely that you have sized the shoes wrong? (I did this a couple of months ago, put the American size instead of the uk size and they were then too small). If they come back and are infact the size you stated then don't offer a refund, someone's trying to pull a fast one.

I wasn't aware of the new rules about non-receipt. Do you have to refund straight away or can you claim the money back from the Post Office first? I've had a few items go missing, both sold and bought but have always managed to get the money back from the PO.

I've only started selling again over the last couple of weeks and was suprised at the fees charged.

I don't know of anywhere else to sell but would be interested if anyone else comes along with some ideas.

Hiya,

Ebid.net seems to be the fastest growing aletrnative.

I've brought and sold a few items on there - it's run by two people that were highly successful on Ebay, but didn't agree with the constant price rises i believe!

Good Luck!

mogs, you have always had to refund for non-reciept, its not new!

and you have to refund before you claim from Royal Mail,or else you will find yourself with a paypal claim & your funds frozen!

I keep thinking the same thing, try the boards here (but now quiet since the rule changes here) I tend to only sell things on ebay that will sell well.
