just paid by eCheque, it's horrendous, can I not speed it up?

I've just added a debit card to my account in the hope that it would make the funds clear immediately, but no such luck.

Am far too impatient for eCheques, just bought a lovely dress and I want it now! Can I do anything?

I had this problem. My debit card had expired and when i went to pay for something it didnt go through. Had to wait almost 2 weeks by the time it had cleared and the item was sent.

Only when i realised that i had to update the details of my new card could i buy stuff instantly again. Not sure why yours hasnt gone through though if you have added debit card to your account it should clear through the same day.(that is via paypal. is that what you have?)

Hi forever, yup - paypal! Does it take a little bit of time to update with the card? Is it possible to cancel the transaction and try again? How annoyhing is it - I can't wait 2 weeks!

well, i would have thought it would be almost immediate. Are you positive you filled it all in correctly? (not meaning to say you havent but cannot understand why it hasnt worked straightaway). Unless once an echque is in place maybe it has to carry on in that manner.

Not sure how you would go about cancelling, maybe worth doing. When did you start the echque process and when did you add the debit card to your account?

Ask the seller to refund / cancel the echq payment. You should then be able to pay again with cleared funds if you have an in date credit card listed.

One of my customers managed to do it last night without any problems once I refunded aher echq. (can never quite figure out why someone needs a bra urgently)
