Can someone just ask to BIN, if we didn't list a price?

I'm selling something that's still got a week to go, but a seller has asked if I'd accept a BIN because they need it by the weekend.

Can I do that?

do I want to?

Hi, you can add buy it now at any time until someone bids, at the top of the page is a link to -edit this item-
I have added a buy it now price before on items that I really want to get shot of but, you do take a risk as you won't know if you could have got more (or less) for it!!!!! The best thing to do is decide how much you would be happy to get for it & agree with the buyer , then e mail them to say you are going to add BIN so they can do it straight away. I hope this makes sense.

I took a BIN as was more than i was expecting! Have refused before and then got not much more than starting price!
Chance you take!
If you do a bin you can end bid at the request highest bid and then add extra to invoice. Have you already got bids ?Depends whether you think you would get more many bin want a cheap deal but also them who willing to pay over for something they really want!

I've got 2 bids I think plus this person.

not offering particularly much but frankly I was surprised to have any offers this early in the game.

just doesn't seem fair to me, when others have started bidding, to sell it to someone just because they're in a hurry, iyswim. Not how ebay works, I feel.

or am I just being geeky about it?

If you have bids then I am 99% sure you can't add BIN-

Lilyloo · 01/10/2008 22:34

If you have other interest keep it going for auction!

I find with ebay that the things you think will sell for loads don't & vice versa! V-annoying, I know thats nothing to do with the thread , just thought I would add it.
