sold an item to honk kong last month, sent airsure tracked etc.

the parcel (according to the online tracker) arrived in early august.

buyer now sending up loads of emails telling us to check with the post office to find out what's happened to it.

We've sent the tracking no to him though he keeps telling us to ask our post office. what i don't know.

he's now opened a dispute, as far as we know the parcel arrived. he has a low score and private feedback.

any thoughts?

ah back in a mo

expatinscotland · 04/09/2008 18:37

can you block him for your email?

FlightAttendent · 04/09/2008 18:52

Ok, I would say he is genuine. He has bid on 68 footbaoll shirts in the last 4 months, won 70% of them, and spent £701.

It looks like he likes footy shirts

He also leaves good fb for sellers.

I would apologise again and say you have no way to help him.

Once the itewm is posted it is beyond your control although you could try to claim compensation from RM on his behalf. Tell them he says he doesn;t have it.

If you let him know you are doing this for him he may be less inclined to neg you.

ok thanks for doing that. i have talked to rm and they think we probably won't be able to claim for anything as as far as they're concerned the item reached HK, but they suggested trying the international compensation dept. that will take some time so hopefully we can placate him with that.

i'm worn out dealing with it .

missjennipenni · 04/09/2008 20:13

dont refund him! You have done your job, and provided proof! Paypal decided in your favour, you can just ignore him now.

expatinscotland · 04/09/2008 20:13

south, why should you refund him?

you've explained and explained that you've done all you could. paypal didn't rule in his favour because there's tracked proof it got there somehow.

why be taken for a mug?

missjennipenni · 04/09/2008 20:20

£50 odd quid is a lot to pay to get him to stop asking you questions!!
