HELP; RE RETURNING AN ITEM OF EBAY

hi bought and paid for an item off ebay, has a row well a talk with the seller as this wasnt as described, the battery compartment was rusted to hell and batteries were held in with sticky tape, and the head of the duck wouldnt stay on. i paid 3.00 for it but postage was a fiver, he offered me 1.50 refund if i returned the item to him i refused so opened a dispute. i won the dispute today pp have refunded me the full 8.00. but i still have the item. not that its worth anything to anyone in my opinion its dangerous and a safty hazard. should i email the seller and ask him for the money to post this back to him or just bin it wat shoould i do.

i wanna just bin it but he mite want it back, so should keep hold of it for a while maybe, i dunno wat to do x

i would be tempted to say nothing and stick it in a cupboard for 6 months

Nobody an do anything now, the seller has no recourse. Bin it.

Hey, do you mind me asking how long did the dispute take? I bought a buggy and was broken and seller lying through her teeth that is was perfect so opened a dispute a week ago now. Going on holiday and don't want to miss a crusical email or something...

hi hun dispute took three days, but they didnt reply to any of the emails to be honest so think pp got peed off and ended in my favour good luck x
