Beside the point I know...but why on earth would someone buy a broken phone on ebay? and spend £127 on it? Am gobsmacked - was it gold-plated?

Although admittedly I'm a tight-arse who wouldn't bother spending more than £30 on a brand new, working phone!

scorpio1 · 03/07/2008 14:44

i know dilbertina - DH said to list it and i thought why? but apparently v popular. have a look on ebay!

Phone was about £500 new (though free with contract for dh)

I am same as you, i dont care about all that.

Stick to your guns Scorpio - you very clearly stated it was faulty so who cares if it's going to cost him x amount to have it repaired - he knew it would need repairing it when he bid on it!!

lindseyfox · 03/07/2008 16:42

very cheeky tell him to return it recorded delivery at his cost and you will refund him minus the postage.

then do a second chance offer to next highest bidder.

he is taking the pee really he brought an item that was as described.

haahaahaahaaahaaa!

hurray for you, scorpio.

ebay will soon be losing lots of sellers if they keep treating them this way.
