So frustrating- cancelled order less than one minute after ordering and they’ve sent it anyway.

Argh. I ordered black shoes on eBay, somehow white shoes are showing on my order details, so I hit the cancellation button immediately and send a message saying the wrong colour was ordered. This morning the cancellation has been refused and the item is on its way.

Looking at the feedback I assume it’s being shipped from abroad and it’s just an automatic thing where there’s no ability to stop it once it’s been triggered. Do I just return it once it gets here?

Just refuse the delivery?

How annoying. I sell on Ebay but I ship twice weekly so if a buyer cancels same day I probably havn't picked the order yet.

It’s being sent by Evri. Do I just not pick it up? Actually I suspect it will delivered and I’m pretty friendly with the Evri guy. I can ask him what to do, but I expect he’ll tell me I have to accept delivery.

I had this with a £700 phone I ordered 😖. Within 5 mins of placing the order I realised it was the wrong model & cancelled it. Contacted the seller & told them. They said too late order already been sent. Rubbish obviously as I’d placed the order literally 5 mins before & had placed the order around 9.30 at night. Immediately raised the issue with eBay. Despite not being sure what was gonna happen, the phone was never sent & I got my refund

The order cannot have been sent already. It will be their policy. Check the returns policy. If they are being sent from abroad you may be stuffed unfortunately.

Contact ebay customer care or the seller. Sometimes they will send the package and still issue a refund.

Use a shop.

Contact eBay. They usually come out on the buyers side

I received a message a day after they sent the item and gave me a tracking number saying they would cancel it, which they haven’t. It’s obvious it’s coming from abroad so I’ll just wait for it to get here and send it back 🙈
