Adult child's eBay account suspended over unspecified risk factors

My adult child has had their eBay account permanently suspended because there were ' certain risk factors '. The customer service agent wouldn't tell me what they were and said that if she opened a new account with the same things, it would also be suspended. He asked questions about the items and their value. We said it was the hobby collection of a family member, props for an amateur magician who has given up, around 150 items in the collection, mostly around £10-20 in value. Also, she now can't get the money for items she's sold- around £120 for 250 days! I asked to speak to a supervisor but he just repeated certain risk factors then cut me off! Anyone know what we can do?

Did he cut you off because it’s not your account? I think your adult child might need to phone themselves to explain.

Well they are only 18, selling on behalf of an aged relative. They were on the call too but the customer service person was very hard to understand, so I asked a couple of questions as well. It's bizarre they wouldn't explain what the risk factors were, so we won't know for another time. They also can't just withhold money without explaining why surely?

Ah I see. I’ve never heard of this happening. Is there an address you can email at all? Chat gpt might shed some light perhaps of what next steps are and what you can do
