I ordered a item from a UK seller.its untracked but supposedly posted on the 2nd July. On the basis they said they are a UK I reported this as lost parcel. The seller is saying they cab not refund me unless I close my case. A quick Google says this is bollocks. The case is only a day old.

What do I do now? Just wait for three days to pass so I can contact ebay? I told the seller I'm going to leave it now ebay to step in. They also said its late due to staff shortage, delays in ( untracked) courier, delays in the post ( yet no tracked and posted on the 2nd.

I suspect they are in the UK at all and have not posted anything

I would wait until eBay step in and they will probably refund you

Or they are dropshipping from another country. Let eBay sort it out OP. Ignore the seller.

What do I do next? Do I need chase ebay up after the three days or will they just see the conversation history on close based on that? Weirdly I had ANOTHER message this morning saying it had been dispatched and tracked. But it's now over three weeks since I purchased it.
