Positive or neutral feedback, can't decide which to leave

I brought a t'shirt for my dads birthday, from an ebay shop.

I paid on 11/06 and when it hadn't arrived on 16/06, I emailed asking when they had posted it.
They replied saying it would be sent that day, nearly a week after I had paid for it. I was annoyed but didn't say anything else as I just wanted it sent.

So yesterday, it still hadn't arrived, so I emailed asking where it was and that if it didn't arrive today I would want a refund.

Anyway it did arrive today, and I am happy with the t'shirt, but not at all happy that it took them over a week to get it to me, and very annoyed that they sent it out so late that it didn't arrive in time for my dads birthday.

So, shall I leave positive feedback, but give a low score for time it took to send, or leave nuetral fedback explaining that the item is great but the delivery time was bad ??

Only positive feedback can be left now.
Ebay has changed.

It wasn't a week though. They didn't even send it out until 5 days after I paid, so by the time it arrived it had been 9 days.

Have left positive feedback, but commented on slow postage time and also marked only one star for time seller took to send item.

5 days was the specified handling time.

I don't think they'd have been as reasonable as me if i'd taken so long to pay.

Don't buy from shops!

IllegallyBrunette · 20/06/2008 20:27

Why ??

Have never had a problem before. Plus it was the only place I could get it from anyway.

The seller has very good feedback, and if he had sent the item out straight away and it taken 9 days i'd not be annoyed, but I was annoyed that it took 5 days for them to even post the thing.

A seller has 7 days after receiving payment in which to post an item. They were well within that and so should receive a positive. no need to mention anything in the comment as they did nothing wrong. you can mark down on the stars but I reckon only by one star, no more.

This is why I always state on my auctions that I can only post once a week (even though I do live above a PO ) and to bear that in mind when leaving feedback. I would also e-mail a seller before purchasing something if the item had to be with me by a certain date, to see when they post and maybe pay extra for a faster postal service.

I just think shops can take time sending out things in my experience. However powersellers are the ones to avoid like the plague as they don't seem to care at all about customer service and respond to negs with negs and are often rude imo.
