as i know that you have to wait up to 10 days if the item had not arrived but what about if the description doesnt match that what it was advertising?

(mum bought a tent trailer and on the description described in a excellent condition, etc but the trailer was rotted and the tent is full of mold as a rip was on the top cover was letting the water in to rot away)

She had paid for it and bought it home knowing the trailer was rotted

Take it back and ask for your money back

Is it not caveat emptor on collections ? If she knew it was damaged perhaps she should have inspected further at the time.

have you contacted the seller? a dispute should take place 'after' contact.
cash on collection is ideal in the way that if you note that it is not as described etc you simply don't pay and collect.
Not quite sure what ebay will make of this one tbh.

I'd contact the seller and arrange to take it back and get the money back - fingers crossed
