why do people ask if i have a BIN price when i havnt listed it as BIN!!

i have had 9 people ask me yesterday/today if i have a reasonable BIN price for my items, why??? if i was going to sell them as buy it now i would have done it to start with.. no??
i told them all i prefer to let it run as an auction just as i listed...

or am i being unreasonable??

Some people just want the item there and then and cant wait, others try and get a bargain. Theres no harm in asking.

yes, i think youre right, it didnt occur to me. one lady asked if she could buy it now as he wants them NOW and cant wait!! (they're only shoes!!)

I once asked a seller if she had a BIN price for an item, it was a fancy dress costume for my daughter to wear to school on book day, if I'd waited until the end of the auction it would have been too late.

i have sold many things that way even though not listed it as BIN

and also bought alot of things that way as would be ideal present or my ds needs itnow if you have a set price in your mind then you can sell it quicker sometimes get more for doing it that way than letting it run its course

last week, a book seller was asked if he could end the auction and offer a BIN of £155. Luckily the seller asked advice first (although the advice was about paypal) and was urged to let the auction run its course. He ended up with £390
