Arghhhhhhhhhh selling some hair straightners, meant to put mark IV, put VI instead which dont even exist. No reserve, not gonna get many bids as everyone will think they are dodgy.... can I do anything?

I think you can, can't remember at the mo (the miserable weather has made my brain go bleurgh)

Try it and see. (isn't that a catch line for something in an advert?)

Hiya GMM, if you go to help at the top right hand corner of the page and then type in edit title in the search box, it comes up with what to do.

Click the My eBay button at the top of any page and sign in.
Click the "Selling" link under "All Selling" on the left-hand side of the page.
The next page shows your active listings in a table called "Items I'm Selling". Find the "Action" heading along the top row of the table. Click the drop down arrow under "Action" in the row for the listing you want to change. Click the "Revise" link.
On the next page, click the "Edit..." or "Add..." link next to the part of the listing you want to change.
Make your changes then click the Save Changes button.

Hope this helps

No, you can't for some reason .

You can still edit the text of the listing though so just make sure it is really clear in the text what you are selling. Other than that you have to cancel listing and relist (maybe emailing current bidder(s) to explain before cancelling).

I have emailed ebay to see what they say - I'm worried that die to the mistake the wont get many bids, when really I was hoping to sell for about £90. God I am so thick!!!

Can you cancel the bid (email the person to explain) then with no bids on teh listing you can revise the title.
If you don't want to do that you can always add to the description, you can't change it, but could add that it is IV not VI, the title is a typo.
