Is anyone in the same position? I have a business account and a private account and since the new payment system has kicked in its been dismal ☹ hardly any sales! This time last year it was doing brilliant 😥

The 'pay after delivery' thing seems to have vanished. It gave you two weeks' grace for payment and if you are a buyer on a low income as I guess many shoppers are who buy second hand or outlet/end of line stock rather than new, then that was a great facility to have. Now the payments as a buyer are taken from your bank account immediately. As a seller I haven't seen any '£1 seller fees' promotions for ages so haven't got anything listed at the moment. And the listing forms are so long now, with so many compulsory boxes to fill that don't actually include what I would have thought were basic descriptive terms. I've done some drafts recently where it was giving the option of terms more appropriate to a completely different type of item. They need to get that sorted.

I totally get where you are coming from with the new payment system. I've gone back to selling on eBay & I sold things on Friday and I only just got paid today in my bank (Tuesday).
You can see what payments are processing tho. If you go on the app, and then click my eBay tab at the bottom, then payments. It shows you what's processing in there, so you can physically see that they have actually paid (even tho eBay tell you they have too).
I wonder what the returns process will be like now with refunds etc if a buyer wasn't happy. At least with PayPal being the middle man eBay had some control over controlling funds. Now that it goes directly in your bank I don't see how they have that control anymore (like freezing payment etc).
I also don't like how you are still expected to post items without physically receiving the money beforehand. What if you don't have the funds to post it?
I do like how they take the fees out instantly tho. I see why they have done that.
I also miss having the money in my PayPal to transfer into my bank whenever I needed it. That way it kept eBay income separate from normal income, as it was in your PayPal so you could differentiate between the two.
I now transfer my eBay money from my bank account into my PayPal, so I can keep a track easily of my Ebay income. Pain in the ass. BUT you do pay slightly less fees now. Ebay take 12% or whatever plus 0.30p or something like that. Whereas before EBay took 10%, PayPal took something like 3.2% then 30p on top of that.
