Can't say which is better because I've only used AuctionSniper.com. Can't imagine there's much difference, though. You have put "credit" into your auctionsniper account using paypal and then you are charged a small percentage for each successful snipe.

oh god, i know how you feel. i was pipped at the post in the last 6 seconds of an ebay auction recently. i know ebay has some bid assistant thing now you can use. i assume you prob have to pay for the priveledge though

mumofDJ · 12/10/2007 12:33

are there really 'sniper' sites? i've never heard of these what do they do?

Spookles, you sign up to a site like AuctionSniper and give them your ebay log-in. Their computer "watches" your auction and at the last second, bids on your behalf just a litte above the current price, so that you win the auction. You have to set your maximum price so they won't bid what you can't afford. You give them a few cent for every winning bid they make on your behalf, you don't pay if you lose the auction.
