Paypal payment pending ? Advise please if pos.

I have set up my first paypal account and received about 5 payments via it.One lady says her payment went unclaimed so she has sent it again.I have checked the paypal address with her.
It says on my e bay thet payment for the item is "pending " paypal.I have logged onto paypal and there is nothing there to claim.Can anyone tell me what is going on ? Cheers

has she sent an e cheque? They take time to clear.

No she has e mailed me and def sent a paypal payment but it just says paypal payment pending .

does your email in ebay match your email in paypal?

it just means its not cleared yet, sometimes can take a week to clear

Fakeblonde - I've had this and the problem was the the email address registered with paypal is not the same as the one which you sold the item under with ebay - check on the 'payment details' page for the item - the email address is at the top - very obvious. If this is the case, the buyer will have to cancel their payments to you (they'll be credited back in 4 days ish) and then pay again using your correct email address registered with paypal - go to make payment, for services, enter the email address and amount.

sometimes payments have just come to my paypal, sometimes ive been asked to "accept" them, i have no idea why.

when i first had it too, i didnt have to have money in it, payments went straight off my card. then i had to upgrade my account and i sent a payment one day thinking it would still be the same but it wasnt, payment was pending and took about 10 days to clear. seller was ok about it though.
