I have just relisted loads of items! Lowered the price a little on some of them.
Might get time to pull all the stuff out of the cupboard tomorrow to find the next load of items to list!

Nemo2007 · 30/06/2007 22:08

Not ebay but am going to do a carboot in the morning too..just loaded up the car so wish me luck!!!

tortoise · 30/06/2007 22:11

Good luck Nemo. You are doing great so far.
If only i had a car i could do car boot sales.

Nemo2007 · 30/06/2007 22:34

lol tortoise..I am actually a bit nervous, plus you would think with all this selling and decluttering the amount of stuff in the house would be reducing!!

MrsWho · 01/07/2007 08:13

tortoise · 01/07/2007 19:41

Hi SNOWball.
I hope you had a good holiday.
I had a look on Ebay and found some the same make and model. My Bro has now said the bit that holds the needle is missing on both. WTF is that called? How can i list for him without proper info.

Nemo2007 · 01/07/2007 19:54

Snowballz..ohh did you go anywhere nice???Did wonder where you were

Tortoise I was only selling toys etc but for some reason it really added up, I thought I had made about £40-£50 max so when I came home and counted up I was very surprised. Considering I was outside and it was piddling it down, would love to see how it is if its a good day!

Nemo2007 · 01/07/2007 19:55

tortoise I would just say exactly that and say you are selling for your brother but will answer any questions etc.

SNOWBall4girlz · 01/07/2007 20:14

tortoise · 01/07/2007 21:01

Thanks Nemo.
The ones on Ebay have ended and bids went upto £31. Didn't meet their reserve. My bro wants at least £60 for his pair!

tortoise · 01/07/2007 21:10

And an offer of £5 for the boys boots. Not sure if i should accept straight away or not....

Nemo2007 · 03/07/2007 21:25

Nemo2007 · 04/07/2007 16:39

Is anyone else getting hammered for ebay fees??? Seems to be costing me a fortune every couple of weeks!

TheShopaholic · 04/07/2007 16:47

Nemo, fees are ridiculous especially if you accept Paypal too.

Nemo2007 · 04/07/2007 16:51

I knew they were always bad but they seem to have gone really steep lately..like adding buy it now is 15p!!! Surely it used to only be 6p?

persephonesnape · 04/07/2007 17:18

I'm not doing too well at all - made around £50 last month, but that went straight back out on my daughters birthday present ( so i guess it really cost me £0.00 )

I've just put a selected few bits on this time, mainly monsoon, oasis, per una etc and some boys clothes age 5 - 6.

i hate people who watch, but never bid ( although i do it too!)

Two more items sold today.
I haven't noticed fees being too bad. Haven't had the latest bill yet which will include all the recent mass listings!

SNOWBall4girlz · 04/07/2007 23:42
