Buyer claiming clothes are stained

I sold some clothes last week. Buyer has contacted me saying clothes are stained & wants to return them for a refund. I am sure they were not stained - any advice on how I should proceed? They have not opened a case.

Offer a refund on return of the item.
FWIW I got fed-up of sellers not checking their clothes as meticulously as I did before sale, so I stopped buying on eBay.

They might be saying this because they don't fit, or they don't like them, so agree, tell them to return for a refund.

They may not have been stained when you sent them, whether they will be stained on return is another matter and a chance you take these days with the Ebay ' free hire service'.

I would message back apologising that you missed the stains and asking them for a photo so you can see the stain. Then say that you will refund them once you recieve the clothes back. If they are stained then you can see how bad they are. If the buyer is trying it on then you probably won't hear from them again.
