Help needed - my parcel is bigger than I first thought - my hermes

Booked courier to come today and just re-weighed my parcel. It is now in the next bracket with all the bubble wrap I have used. I know you can't change the service once booked, so would you cancel and re book and lose first postage or send anyway. It is approx 0.1.5 kg over. I think it needs the wrap. Panic.

honestly - I would risk it. What is the worst they can do. Weigh it and charge you the difference?

Or cancel here and rebook with the correct weight

Thanks Chrissy. I read somewhere that they charge you the difference plus an admin fee of up to £25 so was going to cancel but then when the courier came I asked his advice. He said to send it so I did. Fingers and toes crossed now.

am sure it will be fine. If it was only over by a tiny amount I doubt they would notice.

Hi OP. how strange this happened to me yesterday with myhermes. I had weighed correctly and edited the weight to 2-5kg on the pc but my printer decided to piss about and I had to re do it.
I packaged and stuck label on and then waited for the courier. Checking my emails I realised the one from myhermes said 1-2kg and my parcel was way over at 3.5. I went on to online chat and had to cancel the order and rebook.
The first order will be refunded in 3-5 days.

Please be aware that they are clamping down on under weighed parcels now- the courier who picked up my parcel explained this to me so I'm glad I realised before mine went.
I would have been really annoyed had they chsrgedy me for the next bracket up + admin fee of £25.
