Should I post to Singapore?

I usually only post to Uk. Buyer has 14 feedback and is registered in UK but has asked me to post to Singapore. Item is a designer coat that I'm selling for £300. What do you think ?

Personally I wouldn't. When you say 'registered in the UK' do you mean that the address shown on ebay/paypal is a uk one? If so you should only send an item to the address shown on ebay/paypal.

no I wouldn't - sending in the uk it will need to be courier/Special Delivery for that value. How much would it cost to Singapore with full reliable tracking and insurance? Not worth the risk.

Thank you v helpful. Yes when I click on her details it says 'registered in the UK'.

I wouldn't. You are "covered" for sending to registered address. So that's the UK. 14 feedback is nothing.

butterflybuttons · 10/08/2014 09:55

how are you going to be sending it and have you blocked bidders from abroad? I guess she could add the abroad address as a Singapore address.

glammanana · 10/08/2014 18:05

I certainly wouldn't take the risk the postal system out there is not very trustworthy if you know what I mean ? every chance it could on the missing list prior to delivery, say no and block her on your bidders list and put that you only do UK deliveries in bold letters on your listings.
Long delivery times can also take you over e-bay guidelines for deliveries resulting in Item Not Received claims,so be aware. best of luck with your sale all the same.

Thank you all All useful feedback. I have blocked overseas bidders and the item is fixed priced I agree it's not worth the risk

have you blocked this buyer too though?

And how will you be sending it in the UK?

When I post within the Uk for this value I usually use Special Delivery tracked.
