Hi there. Ive recently started an eBay dispute for an item which never turned up. The seller has added the postage details as "the lady put your address on a piece of paper at the post office" - I thought that this had to be a proper tracking number - she has obviously just sent it by normal unrecorded mail. Will I still be able to get a full refund from eBay?

yes only if you paid by Paypal though

yes of course - proof of postage is not proof of delivery. The latter has a tracking number.

The seller refunds you then has to claim from Royal Mail for a lost parcel. The seller will then need you to accept a cancellation request so they can get their fees back from ebay.

Lots of RM parcels going missing atm so don't be too hard on your seller.
