Buyer not in UK has won item?

After listing a load of stuff this week, my buyer has won two items. I listed as only shipping to the UK, and she's not in the UK. How do I cancel the transaction? She hasn't paid yet, I've messaged her

You didn't set your preferences to block buyers from outside the UK.

Why won't you post abroad?

I have never had any problems and I've posted to many different countries.

They won't have paid as they're waiting for you to change the postage.

It's no good just stating you only post within the UK, you have to update your preferences on your seller dashboard.

you need to send a cancellation request and then block them - and after they accept, ignore or deny the request you an relist. If they ignore the request it will close in a week and you will still get your fees back.

I will check the buyer preferences but when I view the item (and my others) it says in the actual "posts to" UK
I haven't just put it in the description

I have always been asked if I post abroad before buyer bids. I have posted abroad occasionally.

I'm back with another question (sorry!)
I went through the resolution centre and there was an option for "buyer in a country I don't post to" or words to that effect
Sent buyer a message first, no response
Then went through the bit above and it opened two cases (as two separate items) that was on 10/05. How long does the buyer have to respond?

1 week

Close the case as soon as possible on the 7th day. That prevents them causing problems.

Thanks. Will it give the close case option on that day? At the moment it just says awaiting buyers response

Will it give the close case option on that day?

In my experience the options which can be selected at the end of an ebay deadline actually become available the day after. So, after 7 days the option might be available some time during, or at the end of, the 8th day.
