Posting to Eire if it's not a registered address with PP

Can I have some advice please. It's been a while since I sold stuff on eBay. I usually have restrictions on who can bid on my items, so not sure how they slipped through the net.

Newly registered buyer, no feedback, UK PP address, but wants me to post to Irish one that isn't a registered address. It's a phone case that sold for £35. I had listed RM 2nd registered post or local collection.

I am slightly worried about being covered by PP if I don't post to address on account. Also how do I go about wording an email politely in response.

Flipping baby has made my brain loose all sense of logic and reasoning Wink

no you only post to the address given in paypal - and recorded delivery won't be sufficient for a £35 item either, you will need more than that to be adequately insured. Normal signed for only covers up to £20.

If you refund the payment, the buyer can add the correct address as a gift address and repay you - you will then be covered to send there. But make sure you choose special or courier to ensure you are insured against loss.
