Item not as described...can I get a refund on return postage?

I bought quite an expensive item but it's not as described. I contacted seller and they have offered a refund on return, but have said they cannot refund my postage costs as it cost them twice the amount they charged to post...is that right?

not on your return postage unless the seller is generous, but yes on the outward postage to you. So you will get all of your payment back, not just the item price, you get the p&p back too.

Have you looked at Collect + or My Hermes for return, just over £4 and you will need online proof of delivery to show seller has received it before Ebay will refund you.

Brilliant thanks. I've looked at collect+ and it's definitely cheaper than RM. are they reliable?

as reliable as RM, ime, but I don't know what they're like to claim from (not ever had to).

I have had no problems with Collect+ or MyHermes either - never had to make a claim either.
